Examples of cutting facility setups utilising Up-Cut saws.

Up-cut saw saws are usually fully guarded in operation and are generally quieter to operate than drop saws. Up-Cut saw are usually supplied with automatic cutting feed. Up-Cut saws can be integrated in automatic cutting facilities and a variety of standard and custom built equipment is available to automate your cutting line.
The quality of the cut face of the aluminium extrusion or wood is usually superior to what can be achieved with most other saws.
The Up-Cut saw cuts with what is called a shallow cut while saws that have a feed approach from the top operate in climbing cut configuration. The cutting geometry of the Up-Cut saw makes it the ideal choice to cut materials that are otherwise hard to cut clean.
Up-Cut saw are quiet when running idle and are very safe to operate as the access to the saw blade drive and the saw blade is fully enclosed. When in operation the cutting area is fully enclosed and not accessible by the operator.
