This test jig is the final test facility to test an automotive assembly.

This semi-automatic test facility was built to customer’s specification providing the customer with all tests as specified. TAMA designed and built this equipment in conjunction with an electrical automation company.

The component is positioned in a nest and locked while the other side of the test table is in the test carbine and the component is tested.

Because of the nature of the equipment lab-software was used to analyse the test results. An attached printer provides a label with the test results that was attached to the component. 

The purpose of this test jig was to test electrical drive systems under load and monitor the current and speed of the systems.

Also during the load test is the sound produced by the drives monitored an analysed by the software.

Same mechanical movements needed to be tested. This was performed by specially prepared pneumatic cylinders featuring load cells to monitor the required force.
