Equipment Application Example
Pneumatic Hand Punches utilised to punch several holes in aluminium section |
Pneumatic Puncher 63 302 These pictures show a basic fixture that has been designed and built by a customer to punch a series of holes into a sheet metal section with several bends on the ends. The Pneumatic Puncher 63 302 is not a preferred option for this kind of work. TAMA presses like the TS 13 102 or the FF11 333 are usually used for this type of application. However, in this specific case it was not possible to utilise other equipment because of restraints by the prebend sheet metal.

The standard Pneumatic Puncher 63 302 is usually used as a hand punch, however there is no technical reason why it could not be used for a different purpose. The puncher can easily be mounted onto a base by utilising the threaded head mounting hole on the top of the unit. The puncher was also pneumatically modified so that it could be used easily in conjunction with a foot switch.
